Three BYU Football Standouts Receive PFF All-American Honors

first_img FacebookTwitterLinkedInEmailJUPITER, Fla.-In news released Monday, BYU left tackle Brady Christensen, quarterback Zach Wilson and wide receiver Dax Milne received All-American recognition from Pro Football Focus.This commemorates the first time this has happened for the program since 2008 when Dennis Pitta, Austin Collie and Dallas Reynolds were honored.Christensen made the all-PFF first team at left tackle, having earned grades above 95.0 as both a pass blocker and a run blocker.The 6-6 300-pound junior has posted a 96.4 overall grade for the year and is on pace to break the PFF college record set by 2019 Outland Trophy winner Penei Sewell at Oregon.In 11 games, Christensen allowed only three pressures across 372 blocking snaps.He is the first Cougar to earn first-team PFF accolades since BYU center Tejan Koroma was named to the second team in 2017.Wilson made the all-PFF second team for leading an offense that ranks No. 9 nationally in scoring offense (43 points per game) and No. 10 in net yards per game (510.1 yards).Milne leads the Cougars in receptions (63) and receiving yards (1,118) and has eight scoring receptions, which is second on the squad.Milne averages 101.6 receiving yards per game which ranks him 18th nationally.Milne is a semifinalist for the prestigious Biletnikoff Award and Burlsworth Trophy and joins Wilson on the all-PFF Second Team.
