LEICESTER CITY VS EVERTON

On Monday, Spurs’ 2-2 draw at Chelsea meant that Leicester City are the new – and most unexpected – Barclays Premier League champions. It is the Foxes’ first top-flight title in their 132-year history and a remarkable achievement given that they began the season with odds of 5,000-1 to win the Premier League. They can also boast the Professional Footballers’ Association’s Player of the Year in Riyad Mahrez and the Football Writers’ Association Footballer of the Year in Jamie Vardy. They will receive the Premier League trophy after what is their final home game of the season and will be determined to extend their unbeaten run to 11 matches having lost just three all season.Everton, meanwhile, ended a seven-game run without a league win with a 2-1 victory over Bournemouth last weekend with defender Leighton Baines stealing the winner.Everton have won just 10 games and need to win two of their remaining three – they finish the season away to Sunderland and at home to Norwich – to avoid their fewest home successes since they won only nine (in 2003-04 and 1997-98).When these teams met in December, Leicester won 3-2, thanks to two penalties from Riyad Mahrez, to confirm their place at the top of the Premier League at Christmas. This fixture has a habit of throwing up draws. No fewer than six of the nine games at Leicester against Everton have finished all square including the last five. Last season Chris Wood stole a late equaliser for Leicester in a 2-2 draw.Leicester are without Danny Drinkwater after the England midfielder was sent-off in Sunday’s 1-1 draw at Old Trafford against Manchester United. And Robert Huth is also banned after receiving a three-game suspension for pulling the hair of Manchester United’s Marouane Fellaini. But Vardy, who has missed the last two through suspension, returns to the attack.Everton miss the banned Funes Mori so Matt Pennington should continue at the back. Brendan Galloway and Gerard Deulofeu are still missing while there are tests for Gareth Barry and Seamus Coleman.last_img read more

first_imgBy Debra PankowWhat should Personal Financial Management Program employees tell service members about how a person’s FICO score is calculated?Fair Isaac Corporation (NYSE symbol: FICO), the leading provider of analytics and decision-management technology, officially adopted the brand FICO™ as its corporate identity. Credit scores are often called FICO scores because most credit bureau scores used in the U.S. are produced from software developed by Fair Isaac and Company.A person’s FICO score is comprised of the following factors:Payment history: 35%.Are bills late and how often?Amounts owed: 30%.Are you maxed out? How many accounts have balances?Length of credit history: 15%.How long have credit accounts been opened?New credit: 10%.Are you opening accounts frequently? How many new accounts do you have?Credit types: 10%.Is there a good mix of credit (credit cards, mortgages, or personal loans)?FICO scores are provided to lenders by the major credit reporting agencies (i.e., Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion). They may differ at each of the three agencies because each agency may have different pieces of a consumer’s credit history on which a credit score is based. FICO scores are not static; they change over time according to a person’s use of credit. This post was published on the Military Families Learning Network Blog on September 30, 2013last_img read more
